We work as part of Common Knowledge and our London office is in Victoria Park Square right beside the Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood.

The building itself is part of the Young Foundation and was the original home of its precursor the Institute for Community Studies, set up by Michael Young (Lord Young of Dartington) as an innovative development to bring together social research and social action. Michael asked us to move into VPKSQ the year before he died. For us this was a very important move and brought us into an increasingly important hub of social and progressive organisations, a broader client base and a context for much of our work.

At Victoria Park Square we enjoy some excellent office and design space on the first floor with our good neighbours and friends ESRO. Within numbers 17 and 18 we also get a great deal from contact with many other organisations involved in social development, rights campaigns and research including Operation Black Vote, London Civic Forum, UK Creative Commons, School for Social Entrepreneurs, European Dialogue, Grandparents Plus and Magic Me as well as the Young Foundation itself.

idz also has offices in Wivenhoe near Colchester where we are interested in developing links with local and regional organisations particularly in the areas of photography, arts, youth arts and music promotion.
